The Residence bed was the first model in the Le Chomat collection. Although it is the basic model, it entirely satisfies the highest expectations one might have of absolute luxury and pleasure from a deep, quality sleep. It is extremely comfortable and the softest of all Le Chomat beds, the result of combining several layers of carefully chosen natural materials by hand.
The top mattress is airy, soft and hand-filled with organic cotton, alpaca and flax fibre and retains its stability of shape even when used for many years.
The core of the central mattress holds a seven-zone spring system of 13 cm in height that contains 1,000 individually wrapped springs. The level of overall comfort is further enhanced by the fact that the core is wrapped on both sides and hand-assembled with layers of hypoallergenic horsehair, natural foam with castor oil and Aloe vera content and organic cotton. The upper mattress, or topper, is of medium softness, hand-filled with organic cotton, alpaca and flax fibres. Together these qualities enhance the natural comfort and softness to touch of the mattress.
The core, or middle mattress, is made of a seven-zone physiosystem consisting of 2,000 springs overlaid with natural rubber with an open cell structure. This core is wrapped from both sides with hand-stacked layers of hypoallergenic horse hair, cashmere and organic flax, intensifying the comfort and ability to conform easily to the shape of human body. The Le Chomat Modern VARIANT topper, as in the case of the Le Chomat Modern Connection mattress, is designed to achieve the highest level of comfort and to meet individual expectations.
It consists of a 5-cm thick layer of foam with castor oil and Aloe vera that is encased on both sides in layers of organic cotton. Using foam of different density, and consequently different firmness, allows us to adjust the overall comfort to medium-soft or firmer, depending on which the customer prefers.
In contrast to the Connection mattress, the topper in this line is not part of the mattress.
Just as with the Connection mattress, the Le Chomat Modern VARIANT mattress is exceptionally comfortable, airy and springy and holds its shape well even when used for a long period of time.
